SMWC Clinches Second Place in the 2018 USCAA Director's Cup

RICHMOND, Va. – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College finished as the Runner-Up in this year's 2018 United States Collegiate Athletic Association's (USCAA) Director's Cup standings.  The second place award was presented to Director of Sports Information and Intramurals Todd E. McIntyre at the 2018 USCAA National Convention in Richmond, Virginia.

The Director's Cup awards are given annually to the USCAA athletic programs that achieve the most cumulative success across athletic teams during the academic year. Standings for the awards are based on a point system and algorithm, with points awarded to each institution based on the number of sports offerings and results from the USCAA National Championship events.

Athletic Director Deanna Bradley is proud of the athletic programs, "We are extremely excited to have done so well with our athletic teams this year. It is with great pleasure and honor we accept, our first time ever second place finish in the USCAA Director's Cup."
