GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's golf team finished in seventh place in an eleven team field at the Grace Bible College Invitational. Chloe Buerster placed ninth individually shooting an 84. On the day, SMWC defeated fellow USCAA opponent Cleary University by 13 strokes.

The Pomeroys and Oaks were both scoreless for the first 86 minutes of the game until OCU scored the go-ahead goal. SMWC could not score in the final minutes and lost 1-0. The Woods will travel to Fontbonne College on Sunday, September 23rd.
GORDYVILLE, Ill. - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College western equestrian team finished Reserve High Point Team in both shows this past Saturday at Eastern Illinois University. The Woods had six first-place winners including Kindra Gingerich, Morgan Nobbe, Caroline Gadlage, Jennifer Melton, Arin Herman, and Kasey Thiel.
