#PomeroyMG Adds Colton Kuppler to 2017-18 Class

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind.  (Men's Golf) -- Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's golf head coach Abe Nasser is proud to announce the signing of Colton Kuppler to the 2017-18 signing class.

"Colton Kuppler is an exceptional talent. He will make an immediate impact at SMWC. He was a standout on the Franklin College golf team. I believe he can win any tournament he plays in for SMWC," asserted Nasser. 

The Fairbanks, Ind. native comes to The Woods as a transfer student from Franklin College in Franklin, Ind. While at Franklin, he was a member of the golf team and earned several achievements. He was the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Freshman of the Year (2016-17), Hanover Invite Champion (2017), and HCAC Tournament Runner-Up (2017). He graduated from Sullivan High School in Sullivan, Ind. where he was a member of the golf and basketball team. As a Golden Arrow, he won awards such as Freshman of the Year, Most Valuable Player, two-time sectional champion, two-time state finalist, and nine-hole school record of 30. Off the links, Colton graduated with highest distinction and was a member of the National Honor Society.

When asked about how it felt to be a Pomeroy, Kuppler simply replied, "It's go time."

Colton will be an accounting manager at SMWC. He is the son of Randall and Starla Kuppler and has one sibling.
