VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Men's Cross Country) – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College men's cross country team had an amazing season with an equally amazing end at the 2017 United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Cross Country Meet on Thursday morning. SMWC finished in fourth place with a score of 117.
State University of New York (SUNY) – Delhi claimed the national title with a score of 23. The top individual for the meet was Kobie Lane of SUNY-Delhi with a time of 25:59.
The Pomeroys featured four runners in the top 20 of the meet. Freshman Parker Nuest came in 14th place with a time of 27:46. Ethan Collins crossed the finish line in 15th place with a time of 27:48. Brady Page came in 17th place with a time of 28:06. Jordan Love rounded out the top 20 in 20th place with a time of 28:10. Nuest was named to the First Team USCAA All-American.
