Earlier in the season, Jones was named USCAA Player of the Week while she is expected to be a top contender for USCAA First Team All-American status.
Hollie Jones said, "Being student-athlete of the month is such a rewarding feeling. I'm so grateful for this reward. I wouldn't be able to get this far if it weren't for Baylee Waters and Kerri Schrock for pushing me on the field and Nicole Niespodziany for pushing me in the classroom. I am hoping to finish up this year by doing the best I possibly can in the classroom and leaving everything I have on the field in nationals! She added, "With this great softball family and the support, we all have to help each other in the classroom. there is no doubt that our team can achieve great things. You don't just hit home runs on the field. You hit them in the classrooms too!"
Come watch Hollie Jones and the Pomeroys' softball team on Sunday, April 29th at 2:00 p.m. We will celebrate Senior Day against Midway University and the final regular season game of the year.
