Overall, what the team needs to continue to work on...

"We need to continue to swing at better pitches."

What he is happy about in his team's performance from today...

"I think we are starting to play like a team. Pitching has been good. We are hitting the ball pretty good just hitting it where our opponents are at."

What it felt like to earn her first collegiate win...

"Getting my first collegiate victory felt so unreal! I am so thankful for this opportunity and excited to get our first season W! My teammates are always there to back me up and cheer me on when I'm on the mound, so they were definitely a huge part of this experience and I cannot wait to see where the rest of the season takes us."

How the team was able to come back after two tough losses yesterday and the tough second loss in game two...

"It was our first day being outside for the season yesterday and I think everyone just had the jitters or was anxious. Today we came back ready to play. After the second game today we all seemed very tired but knew that we could pull through and didn't give up. We had one or two bad innings in the second game where they got a bunch of runs. Without that, we could have come closer or could have beat them. Then we proved it the 3rd game. Each game we play, we keep coming closer as a team and with the whole team in the game, playing for each other, we can win any game."

How it felt to get her first win on the mound and for the team to come out with two wins today...

"It's definitely an amazing feeling getting back on the field after a long setback of being injured last year. Our team chemistry on the field today showed, allowing us to achieve two successful wins today. We just have to keep trusting the process while having fun and being competitive."
