SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (Women's Basketball) – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College head women's basketball coach Deanna Bradley is proud to announce the signing of Molly Buzek to the 2017-18 signing class.

"Molly is going to be a great fit for the style of system we run, " commented Bradley. "She gets up and down the court well, can shoot the three and get to the hoop. She has good defensive skills to add to her game, making her the complete player. We are thrilled she will be joining our program next season."

Buzek will be coming to SMWC from Madeira High School in Madeira, Ohio. While at Madeira, Molly was a four-sport athlete earning letters in basketball, soccer, golf, and lacrosse. The 5-8 point guard led the Cincinnati Hills League (CHL) in three pointers (2017) and was named to the All-CHL second team for two years straight (2016, 2017).

"I am extremely excited to join this team. All of the girls and coaches are welcoming and energetic," gushed Buzek, "I can't wait to play with them! The school, itself, is beautiful and the perfect size. The campus is peaceful with multiple activities to keep you occupied."

Molly plans to study pre-physical therapy with a minor in health and wellness. She is the daughter of Tom and Jenny Buzek and has one sibling, Alex-Kate Buzek.
