Pomeroys Fall Against the Red Hawks

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODSInd.- - The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods  College women's basketball team faced off against Indiana University-Northwest today at 7:00 p.m. The Pomeroys lost big to the Red Hawks 93-66, which marked their second loss in-a-row.

Game Flow

The Pomeroys shot 38.1% from the field in the first 10 minutes of the game, yet trailed seven points as they entered the second quarter. At the charity strike, SMWC shot very well as they knocked down 16 free throws on the game. At the halfway point, the Pomeroys were behind 48-33. In the third quarter, the Red Hawks pulled away as they outscored SMWC 32-to-13. Despite the Pomeroys full-court press causing 22 turnovers by the Red Hawks, IU-NW earned the victory 108-59.
