Taylor, Lloyd, Parmer, and Canada, Earn USCAA All-Academic Honors

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Tonight, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association announced its All-Academic team at the 2018 USCAA Women's Basketball awards banquet. Four student-athletes including: Tara Parmer, Jordyn Lloyd, Mara Canada, and Callan Taylor, from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College were named USCAA National All-Academic. 


ALL-ACADEMIC STATUS

The USCAA’s National All-Academic Award is designed to recognize all student-athletes (sophomores, juniors, and seniors at four year institutions and sophomores at two year institutions) who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 (on a 4.00 point system) or greater. 


WANT TO ATTEND THE GAME?

Fans wishing to make the trip to Uniontown, PA. can purchase tickets through the USCAA box office. All seating for the Championships is General Admission. Day passes include entry into both gymnasiums for any one day. Tournament passes provide access to both gymnasiums for all days of the tournament. Tickets are non-refundable while entry to Tuesday's skills competition 12:00 p.m. is free of charge.

NEXT CONTEST

The SMWC women's basketball team is not done, as they will take on Paul Quinn College in the first round of the USCAA National Champions tomorrow. Tip-off is set for 10:00 a.m. EST.
