SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. - A new age in Saint Mary-of-the Woods College women’s basketball will begin as one recognizable face will step away from the coaches' box. Athletic Director Deanna Bradley announced Wednesday morning that she will resign as head women’s basketball coach of the Pomeroys. Holding the position of athletic director as well, Bradley will shift more of her focus on that role.

UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- The #8 SMWC women's basketball team played their season finale in the USCAA National Championships today at 9:15 a.m. The consolation game against #4 Dean College ended after an ejection of the Bulldogs coach Grahm Smith with 6:01 left in the third quarter. The disqualification led to actions which compelled the officials to "end" the game and grant a forfeit victory to the Pomeroys! The forfeit will count towards the win/loss record of both teams and the stats from the incomplete game will be counted. Although the final score in the books will be listed as SMWC winning 2-0.
BEREA, Ky. -- The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's basketball team traveled to the Seabury Center tonight at 6:00 p.m. The Pomeroys battled NCAA Division III Berea College and were defeated 110-48. SMWC has dropped five of their last six contests.
SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. -- Not only did the SMWC women's basketball team square off against Robert Morris-Springfield. They also had to face the emotion that senior day would bring. Tara Parmer and Jordyn Lloyd each played in their final game at Hamilton Arena, while team manager Brianna Hurley managed her final game as well. Despite the heavy hearts, the Woods came out victorious. SWWC closed out the regular season with a 104-64 victory and will carry momentum headed into the USCAA National Championships.
