#PomeroyWG Signs South Vermillion Standout Alexandria Bazzani

SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College head women's golf coach Steve Higham is proud to announce the signing of Alexandria Bazzani to the 2017-18 signing class.

"Ali is an outstanding student-athlete with great parents," stated coach Higham. "She will play a big role in our team's success from day one, and I look forward to four great years."

Bazzani, who will graduate from South Vermillion High School, is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on VHS's distinguished honor roll for three years, while serving as a Hoosier Girls State delegate.

While active in the community, Bazzani has also been active on the course in her time at VHS. She is the only girls golfer in VHS history to qualify for regionals all four years and was an all-conference selection three of those four years. As a junior, she was the WIC low medalist, and as a senior she was the WRC low medalist.

"I am so excited to play golf for SMWC," stated Bazzani. "SMWC has proven to be an outstanding school with a wonderful liberal arts program. I am looking forward to my next four years at SMWC."

Bazzani plans to major in business and minor in communications. She is the daughter of Jack and Janice Bazzani.
