Kumpf, Mack, and Slagle Earn AVCA All-American Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its fifth annual United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Women's Volleyball All-American Team.

In cooperation with its relationship with the USCAA, the AVCA awards an All-American Team and Honorable Mention Team. This is the first year the USCAA All-Americans were split into a pair of divisions. USCAA coaches are also eligible to receive the AVCA Team Academic Award and AVCA Victory Club awards.

This year's team honored 21 student-athletes as All-Americans with 13 earning honors in Division I and eight in Division II.

SMWC was represented by three player's who are very familiar with AVCA All-American honors. McKenzi Kumpf, Monica Mack, and Gabriella Slagle each raked in awards.
