#PomeroyWXC Adds Breanna Barger

SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (Women's Cross Country) – Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College women's cross country head coach Zach Whitkanack is proud to announce the signing of Breanna Barger to the 2017-18 signing class.

"I am excited that Breanna has chosen to continue her running career here at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College," exclaimed Whitkanack, "Breanna is a gifted runner and an extremely hard worker. She is going to be a great addition to the program and adds to an already strong freshmen class."

The Crothersville, Ind. native graduated from Crothersville Junior-Senior High School. As a Tiger, Barger was a member of the cross country, track, and basketball team. Upon graduating, she received academic honors and her associate's degree. She was an active student with membership in the Science Club, Students Against Drunk Drivers (SADD), the Sunshine Society, Future Farmers of America (F.F.A.), and the History Club.

"I'm super excited about joining the team this fall. It is an amazing opportunity and I can't thank Coach Whitkanack and SMWC enough for signing me," gushed Barger.

Breanna intends to major in business management with a minor in human resource. She is the daughter of Sammie and Carolyn Hendren and has three siblings.
