Quote | Head Coach Zach Whitkanack
"I am very happy with how the season has gone so far but now we have one meet left that we need to take care of business."
"Each year the goal is the same. We want to improve upon the places and times from the previous year. It's always been my belief that you measure yourself against the clock in cross country."

"We want to prove that all of the work we've put in over the past year has been worth it. The speed workouts, the long runs, and everything in between have prepared us to race to our fullest. Coming off of our 3rd place finish last year, we've had our eyes set on the runner up spot all year...but we know we all have to race to the best of our capabilities to bring it home."
"We've been emphasizing all season keeping things packed up and hopefully that will pay off come next week. Personally, I just want to go out and make sure I race my best and put the team in the best position to be on the podium, it's more about racing well than it is getting a good time for this meet."

"I'm just looking to have a solid week of training this week and then taking next week easy to prepare for nationals. I would love a shot at the title and I think my physical fitness is there, just have to stay mentally strong the entire race."
"As for the team, our goal is to bring home some hardware. I think we are ready to go as a team."
Quote | Kayla Coryea
"I think the team's mindset going into Nationals is super positive! We're all a little nervous but we're very excited to go out and race. Hopefully, we can prove just how hard we've worked this season for the opportunity to become national champions, which at this point is our main goal. Personally, I am most excited about the opportunity to race again at Nationals. It was such an eye-opening experience last year and I just hope I will race as well as I did last season. The competition will be tough but I've been preparing for this moment all season."
Quote | Zoe Trausch
"I'm a little nervous as our team heads into Nationals. Our goal as a team is to hopefully win at Nationals, which I think is a realistic goal because of the way our team has been running here recently. We're starting to close the gaps. We want to go into Nationals with the right kind of mentality. I'm confident in our team's ability to run well...Nationals is something we've been training for all season."
