#PomeroyMG Christens Inaugural Season in French Lick

FRENCH LICK, Ind. – The Saint Mary-of-the-Woods men's golf team christened its inaugural season on Saturday with the first round of the Franklin Intercollegiate. After day one, the Pomeroys sit sixth out of nine teams with a team score of 335.

The Pomeroys' five freshmen played well for their first taste of college golf, as they took on the par 70 course and 6,700 yards that The Donald Ross Course in Fench Lick, Ind., had to offer.

The Pomeroys were led by Samuel Grimes' card of 80 that was supported by cards of 84 from Braxton McIntyre, 85 from Justin Wilson, 86 from Jaret Morlan and 87 from Blake Bennett.
