Youth Camp Hosts Autograph Day with Indy Eleven's Farr & King

SAINT MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. - Campers for the Indy Eleven Youth Soccer Camp concluded day three with a meet 'n' greet autograph session with Indy Eleven players Jordan Farr and Macauley King. Each camper was given a free Indy Eleven youth jersey from Director of Youth Development & Club Liaison Josh Kremers and had the chance to interact and take pictures with the players while having their jerseys, soccer balls, and even gloves signed.

Head Men's Soccer Coach Abe Tizaf was quoted as saying, "Today gave me the opportunity to travel back in time when I first met a professional player who inspired me to become one as well. It was a wonderful opportunity to have Indy11 players visiting us on campus during the soccer camp. I am sure this was a great surprise for the campers who fully enjoyed the experience. The soccer program will continue to build this partnership, More to come in the future!"

Chris Lozier, Director of Admissions at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, who has two sons participating in the youth camp said, "I am very happy to have my sons attending this camp and reciving first class instruction and coaching from the Indy Eleven and SMWC coaching staffs. My kids are really enjoying the camp and I could not be happier with their experience."

Per the Indy Eleven website, Farr, a goalkeeper, "signed with Indy Eleven after spending his collegiate career with Corban University, located in his hometown of Salem, OR. The goalkeeper spent most of 2018 recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained during a preseason friendly, making him eager to compete for his first professional minutes in 2019."

"King joined the Boys in Blue after a successful colligate stint with NCAA Division II outfit Young Harris (GA) College – the alma mater of fellow Boy in Blue Ilija Ilic – after signing in early January. The Englishman scored in his professional debut on March 15, 2019, the opener in Indy's 3-2 win at Charlotte Independence."

Campers will be back on the pitch tomorrow and Friday to wrap up their week.
