Pomeroys Lose A Tough Contest In Berea, Ky.
BEREA, Ky. - SMWC women's basketball was beaten by Berea College this afternoon 118-66. The Pomeroys fall to 3-9 (.235) on the season. Last year at this point in the season, The Woods sat with a record of 5-7.

How It Happened:

SMWC allowed Berea College jump out to a quick lead and the Mountaineers never looked back. At the end of the first, the Pomeroys were down 39-17. In the second, the defense played the best it did all game long as they held BC to 21 points. At the half, Berea led 60-32. In the third, SMWC scored 19 points as the 3-PT baskets started to fall. In the fourth, Kyndall Foli scored her first points of the season which excited the bench. However, SMWC lost 118-66.
