"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be." ―Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It feels like a dream come true to join the SMWC team because all I ever dreamed of was playing basketball in college. The number one thing I like about college is that you have access to the gym at any time. Also, I like how beautiful it is. The one thing I'm most excited about is going to SMWC and continuing my basketball journey, meeting new people & getting my degree. The coaches were very wonderful, cooperative & helpful. I would like to thank everyone who supported me on my journey. My friend's family and coaches. Especially my coaches. If it weren't for them I probably wouldn't be committing to SMWC. They stuck by my side and pushed me to be hard and I now know why. Coach Fox, Coach Larkin's, Coach Lauck & Candice, you all left a great coaching impact on my life & everything you all taught me I'll never forget."

"We are quite pleased to add Jayla Rogers to our team.  She is an athletic, aggressive player that will help us immediately around the basket at both ends of the floor.  Her game will grow and we expect big things from her as she gets comfortable with the college game.  She is a wonderful young lady that enhances our overall team culture."
